YMCA University rated as Top Engineering Institute in Haryana in a survey conducted by Careers360, YMCAUST awarded ‘AAAA’ rating (Snapshot of Rating)
The YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, one of Haryana’s top Technical Institutes, has been rated 'AAAA' in an independent rating survey conducted by Careers360, India’s largest higher education and career counselling portal.
In the category of ‘Top Engineering Colleges in Haryana 2016’, the University has been ranked number one Engineering Institute in Haryana with ‘AAAA’ rating. Careers360 has recently announced the report of the University and Engineering Rating and Ranking Survey 2016. The report of survey has also been published in the latest issues of Careers360 magazine. The rating has been given on the basis of set parameters including cut-offs of national and state level Entrance exams, Accreditation and Reward status and Publication record from Elsevier’s indexing database – Scopus.
The University has improved its rating this year comparing to previous year from ‘AAA+’ to ‘AAAA’ in this category. The University has also been given ‘AAA+’ rating in the Category of Outstanding Universities in Public Sector in the field of Engineering and got 35th place in the category of ‘Top Engineering Colleges in India-2016’.
Expressing pleasure over the well deserved achievement of the University, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar said that “It’s a proud moment for everybody at the University and will encourage us to do better in the coming years.” He said that the university will put in more efforts to ensure that it is recognised world-wide level for its quality of teaching and research.
Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Registrar of the University has also expressed happiness over the institution being ranked among the best Engineering Institutes in the State.
Careers360 shortlists over 5000 colleges across domains each year and on the basis of transparent data collected by Careers360, the cumulative scores of colleges are calculated. The parameters for rating an engineering institute are based on the cut-offs of national and state level Entrance exams, Accreditation and Reward status and Publication record from Elsevier’s indexing database – Scopus. Based on the individual scores secured by an Institute in respective parameters, the cumulative score of all the colleges ranked is calculated.
